With the arrival of the Little Cold solar term, temperatures are gradually dropping. Not only do we need to keep warm, but your portable handheld laser marking machine also requires "winter care". Seasonal issues such as low temperatures, dryness, and static electricity may affect the normal operation and service life of the equipment. The following tips will help your equipment maintain high efficiency and stability during winter!

1. Pay attention to temperature adaptation and avoid sudden cold and heat. Pre-warming before startup: Before using in a low temperature environment, it is recommended to power on the device in a normal indoor temperature environment and let it sit for at least 30 minutes to prevent condensed water vapor from entering the interior.
Operating environment temperature: It is recommended to use the device in an environment with a temperature above 5℃. Avoid operating it continuously for extended periods at low temperatures, as this may affect the performance of the laser.
II. Use and maintenance of lithium batteries: Avoid charging at low temperatures. Try to charge lithium batteries at room temperature, as charging at low temperatures may affect battery activity and lifespan.
Charge as needed: If the device is not to be used for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the battery, store it in a dry, room temperature environment, and maintain a charge level of approximately 50% or higher.
Support for simultaneous charging and use: The device supports simultaneous charging and use. Please note that low temperature environments may reduce battery life. It is recommended to avoid high-intensity continuous operation under these conditions and keep an eye on the remaining battery life to prevent excessive discharge from affecting battery life. If prolonged operation is required, you can also connect to a power source to avoid the battery being depleted too quickly.
III. For air-cooled system maintenance equipment utilizing an air-cooled system, please ensure that the air inlet and outlet are not obstructed, avoid using it in an environment with heavy dust, and regularly clean the dust accumulation around the fan.

In dry winter, the humidity around the equipment can be appropriately increased to avoid the accumulation of static electricity, which may affect the stability of the circuit.
IV. Screen and body
The device should be protected from "sudden temperature changes": when transitioning from a warm indoor environment to a cold outdoor environment (or vice versa) with a significant temperature difference, allow the device 30 minutes to adapt to prevent internal condensation and damage to precision components.
5. Screen and Operating Interface Protection: The 7-inch high-definition capacitive screen may respond slightly slower at low temperatures, which is a normal phenomenon. Even high-end capacitive screens may experience a slight slowdown in response speed. It is recommended to perform indoor editing before proceeding with outdoor marking.
Avoid exposing the screen to moisture or condensation. If there is moisture, please gently wipe it off with a soft, dry cloth.
VI. System Warm-up is Essential After turning on the machine, do not immediately proceed with high-precision marking operations. It is recommended to allow the equipment to run without load for 15-30 minutes, so that the Linux system, laser, and other core components can fully warm up. Once the equipment runs stably, start formal work to avoid damaging internal components due to insufficient warm-up.

VII. Storage Environment When the equipment is not to be used for an extended period, it should be stored indoors in a dry, ventilated area with a temperature ranging from 5-20℃. Avoid storing it outdoors or in a damp, cold warehouse. Before storage, clean the dust from the equipment, turn off all power sources, remove the battery, and ensure that the equipment is stored in a dry and pressure-free condition.
Winter is a high-risk season for malfunctions in handheld marking machines, but it is also a "touchstone" for testing quality. Proper use and maintenance of the equipment can not only extend its lifespan but also effectively reduce the risk of malfunctions, ensuring that your handheld marking machine can "work efficiently, be durable, and worry-free" even in winter!
